We have a lot of updates to share with all of you. Here is our monthly roundup with a list of all our activities and events from the month of October. Hope you enjoy it!

1. Children from SOS CV Kolkata have a great time with HSBC

Children from SOS Village Kolkata got a fantastic opportunity to showcase their talent at an event organised by HSBC in their office on 25th November 2018. Ten children from the Village were invited to participate in a drawing competition, where they were asked to put their imagination into colors. Employees from HSBC were amazed looking at the children’s artwork and even invited them to be part of their employee get together on 1st November 2018. While Rahul Barui won the first prize in the competition, Shreya Sarkar and Jyoti Singh bagged the second and third prize, respectively.

Thank you Team HSBC for giving our children this opportunity, they were overjoyed with the experience!

2. Tulendra makes us proud!

Tulendra, a budding artist from SOS Village Raipur bagged the 2nd position in the Hunar Ki Udaan painting competition. The event was organised by the Department of Ophthalmology, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, on 7th October 2018. His efforts were recognized with a certificate and also a cash prize. It is a matter of great joy for Tulendra and SOS India to know that his paintings are now being displayed on the walls of Prof. J N Pandey School, Raipur.

Keep up the great work, Tulendra!
