SOS Tarang 2018

To commemorate Universal Children’s Day, SOS Children’s Villages of India organizes a series of regional and zonal level competitions every year to showcase talents of children from across 32 Children’s Villages in 22 states in India. Competing in the field of art, culture and sports, this series is culminated into a National Level Competition, wherein winners from all zones come together and battle against each other to make it to the grand finale. The event commenced on 19th November 2018 with the inaugural ceremony, followed by the screening of the SOS India Tarang 2018 film at the Hermann Gmeiner School, Faridabad.

SOS Tarang 2017

To commemorate Universal Children’s Day, SOS India organises SOS Tarang, the annual festival of SOS India to highlight and showcase the talent of children. In 2017, SOS Tarang will be held on November 20th, where children from across the 32 village in India would compete in the fields of sports, art and culture. The events lined up for this year’s Tarang festival include a talent show, relay race and skit competition among many others. The programme will be concluded with an award giving ceremony, where all winners will be given certificates and trophies for their exemplary performances.

SOS Tarang 2016

To commemorate the occasion of Universal Children’s Day, SOS India organises SOS Tarang, the annual festival of SOS India where children get the opportunity to showcase their talent in the field of art, sports and culture.
 
SOS Tarang 2016 saw a number of varied competitions as part of its celebration. Children from all 32 Villages across India enthusiastically took part in competitions held at the state, zonal and national level and got the chance to interact with many other brilliantly skilled children from other places. The Grand Finale of Tarang 2016 was held in New Delhi on November 25th, 2016, where the event marked the presence of the very talented singer Suneeta Rao as its chief guest. As part of the Gala Evening, children from SOS Khajuri Kalan presented the crowd a drama performance and also sang the National Anthem in sign language; this was the highlight of SOS Tarang 2016. The programme concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where winners were given certificates, medal and trophies.
