To commemorate Universal Children’s Day, SOS India organises SOS Tarang, the annual sports and cultural festival of SOS Children’s Villages of India. With the participation of children from across 32 Villages in 22 states in India, SOS Tarang not only is a platform for them to display their talent but also a great time to bond with each other.
This year, the grand finale of Tarang 2018 was held on 22nd November at Shri Sathya Sai Auditorium, New Delhi. While children competed in the fields of sports, art and cultural, our Village Directors from all zones got a great opportunity to spend time with their counter parts. The finale included events like group song, group dance, duet song, experience sharing by Shivani Chibbar and Anadi Bisht, settled youth of SOS India and a dance performance by differently abled children from SOS Village Khajuri Kalan, who also presented the National Anthem in sign language towards the end of the programme. The mesmerizing evening was concluded with the award ceremony for all winners. The finale was preceded by the Inaugural Ceremony of SOS Tarang 2018 on 19th November 2018 at Hermann Gmeiner School, Faridabad, and various other national level sports and cultural competitions.
