Lucky was six years old when she was brought to SOS Children’s Village Rajpura in the year 1997. Adored by all, she was cheerful and very affectionate towards everyone around her. Lucky was a bright girl since the beginning. Not only did she manage to get the perfect score each time in academics, she was also active in co-curricular activities.
After completing her secondary schooling i.e. class 12th in the CBSE Board, she went on to pursue her higher studies in Hotel Management. It has been five years of Lucky working as an independent girl now and in this career, she has worked with renowned names like the Leela Palace Hotel. Today, she is a 25 year old girl and is working with the JW Marriot Hotel, New Delhi, as a Supervisor in the Housekeeping Department. She loves her work and believes in excelling in whatever she does!
Lucky feels blessed to be part of the SOS Family. She feels extremely thankful for the love, care and support that she received from her mother and other village members.
She says, “I love my SOS Family and I try my best to stay in touch with them. I visit them whenever I get an opportunity. When I need any advice or guidance, I call up my mother because I know that she will always be there for me!”
