Spread joy this festive season with SOS Children’s Villages India

Support us to invest in a world where we empower hopes and enable a better tomorrow for vulnerable children

Abhishek counseling a youth

In the heart of Bhopal, a little soul named Abhishek found his way into the warm embrace of SOS Children's Villages India. Even at the tender age of 15 days, Abhishek's eyes sparkled with curiosity, and his tiny heart yearned for the magic of the festive season.

Year after year, Abhishek would request his mother to take him to meet Santa, his eyes gleaming with excitement and wonder. His SOS family, recognising the importance of nurturing dreams, made sure that Abhishek's festive wishes were fulfilled with joy and laughter.

Fast forward to today, and Abhishek has blossomed into a remarkable 21-year-old youth ambassador, spreading the spirit of hope and resilience. His journey from a tiny bundle in SOS India to a beacon of inspiration is nothing short of a festive miracle.

Abhishek's passion for making a difference led him to pursue an MPhil in Anthropology, unlocking doors to knowledge and understanding. But Abhishek's success isn't just confined to his academic pursuits; he has become a recipient of a prestigious Government Scholarship, a beacon of opportunity illuminating his path towards a brighter future.

What makes Abhishek's story truly special is his commitment to giving back to his community. Fuelled by the love and support he received in his formative years, Abhishek has embraced the role of a mentor, guiding and nurturing vulnerable children just like him. Through his scholarship, he isn't just finishing his education; he's also sowing the seeds of empowerment for others.

As a youth ambassador, Abhishek is a testament to the transformative power of love, education, and community. This festive season, as Abhishek continues to shine brightly, his story serves as a reminder that the spirit of giving and the magic of hope can turn the smallest of sparks into a radiant flame, lighting up the lives of those who need it the most.
