SOS Children’s Villages India is extending support to flood-affected vulnerable families in Chennai
Chennai is witnessing incessant rains caused by Cyclone Michaung, causing displacement of many vulnerable families. SOS India has taken swift action to provide relief and support to these affected families.
Based on a preliminary assessment, SOS India aims to provide immediate relief and restore normalcy in the lives of the affected families.

38 short stay homes are operating in 28 Children's Villages
15,000 children supported last year during emergencies and disasters
2402 youth completed skill training programme 137 youth got their first job
25 children reached out, 18 Care Leavers
Specially abled children being extended lifelong care - 53 children (18 + years); 20 children 23 +years)
