Families BRG: Games Fundraiser by FactSet Families BRG

The Families BRG for India is fundraising for SOS Children's Villages India during Families Fortnight.

What is Families Fortnight?

Families Fortnight 2024 is being held from Monday, January 22 - Friday, February 2. This annual FactSet celebration includes events dedicated to FactSetters with caring responsibilities and their allies. The Families BRG aims to build awareness and inspire colleagues through stories, experiences, and programming focusing on blending work and family life.

What is SOS Children's Villages?

SOS Children's Villages India believes that no child should grow up alone. They support children in 137 countries whose families are unable to care for them or are at risk of losing them. They run 559 Children's Village communities that provide family-like loving care for children. Additionally, SOS Children’s Villages runs 700+ youth programs and 450+ schools and vocational training centers.

FactSet works with SOS Children’s Villages in India and the Philippines as part of our work to Alleviate Food Insecurity and Educate to Elevate. Together, we provide nutritious meals, educational support, and work readiness workshops to 1,500+ children in India and the Philippines.

Our people volunteer to run work readiness workshops based on FactSet new hire class content, reimagined for a teen-and-up audience. Topics include email communication, time management, and presentation skills. We hope to launch a volunteer-led work experience program with the charity in FY24.

THANK YOU for supporting this incredible work to help children whose families cannot look after them get the best possible start in life!
